Three more prizes, $25, $15, and $10 each, go to the three of the ten girls who make the best scholastic record in their sophomore year. It is interesting thus to find proof of the effect of physical soundness on scholastic attainment and college activity, for the girls who win the Needham prizes very often make Honor Society, and are always active on the campus.” • Letter to Miss Byrne on List of Winners, June 2, 1933 from Margaretta B.
